Before & After Photos!

Here are some quick before and after photos that really demonstrate the dramatic changes that have happened at the schoolyard in just few short months.

Now, trees are cared for and loved. They have lovely mulch and some have protective armour stone around them to ensure they get plenty of water. And, although we realize children love to frolic under trees, this unfortunately makes the soil very hard, like concrete, which means even during the hardest of rainfalls most of the water will just roll away from the tree rather than be absorbed by the soil and the tree's roots.

The sandpit used for track and field events has been made bigger and better. And the boring corner of the field has been made even more fun, because there are 5 massive tires filled with soft sand which are perfect for playing in. The whole area is surrounded by lovely rolling berms and is connected by a winding path!

And, look at how much FUN, FUN, FUN the kids are having!!!
