End of Year School Supply Donations.
As you know, being a new school we are sparse on some supplies. Especially for things the kids can play with during lunch and recess.
Recently, a committee member Jen M.,was able to convince Canadian tool manufacturer Garrant Tools to donate a variety of outdoor tools for the kids. Check-out more about this company HERE, if you don't recognize the brand. The kids will now have a colourful assortment of rakes and shovels to help keep up the various yard maintenance!
The students will have such fun with these items!

Another committee member, Jodie, was received almost 1000 pieces of sidewalk chalk as a donation from her sister! This chalk has already been put to creative use by many of the students and it will interesting to see how quickly the kids will use it all up!
A huge thanks to Jodie's sister for donating this chalk and supporting the kids!
The Greening and Grounds committee has received other toy donations from various sources and we are always open to accepting more. So, this spring and summer when you're cleaning out your basement or shed, think of how the students may benefit from things your family has outgrown before donating or throwing things out at the dump! Items do not have to be new, but nothing broken, chipped or rusty, please!
